Tyson Fresh Meats Brick Pack Video
Situation
Our client Tyson Fresh Meats wanted a video displaying their product called the brick pack. The brick pack is a pound of beef packed in a square. This packaging offers a lot of value to consumers.
The catch: the video will be shown in stores, with or without sound.
Solution
Since the video may not be heard, all important information had to be written. So, the script and the video rely heavily on type as it plays upbeat music.
Next Step: Storyboards
My job: collaborate with the copywriter (Kevin DeLury).
Together, we crafted several scripts showing the benefits of the brick pack. Our client selected his favorite script, and the video crew (DeJa View Media) brought our vision to life.
On Set
The video crew captured key points in the storyboard
Key Point
The brick pack won’t leak in a consumer’s fridge. This key point is made through motion graphics.
Key Transition
The video goes from the cutting board to the skillet with a smooth motion. The brick pack fills the camera frame and descends in the new setting.
Working Together
As the Art Director, I went on set. Because I worked with others, others brought ideas that made the piece even stronger, as this video shows.
